Homemade Hummus with Pimentón
1 ½ cans of chickpeas (garbanzos)
½ tsp of lemon juice
½ tsp of Hot Smoked Paprika (Pimentón)
2 tbsp of EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)
1 garlic clove minced (optional)
salt to taste
Blend all ingredients together in a food processor until well mixed. Hummus can be smooth or chunky depending on your preference. If hummus texture is too thick, feel free to add another tablespoon of EVOO or water to thin, blend again. Serve in a bowl with a drizzle of EVOO on top and a dash of Pimentón. Pita chips are great for dipping!
