n13 Salud Smoky Hibiscus Cocktail Salt / Crushed Strawberry Hibiscus Margaritas
4 large strawberries quartered
4 lime wedges
1 oz Patrón
1/2 oz Triple Sec
For simple syrup (make ahead to give it time to cool):
4 hibiscus petals
3 oz water
1 tbsp sugar
To make simple syrup: Add hibiscus petals, water, and sugar to a sauce pan. Bring to a boil, stirring, and let cool. Set aside.
Add strawberries to a cocktail shaker. Take 4 lime wedges and squeeze juice onto strawberries. Then throw wedges into shaker (or large glass) and muddle or crush and smash berries and lime wedges together. Add tequila, triple sec, simple syrup, and ice, and shake vigorously.
Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a glass and dip the glass rim in a shallow dish of n13 Salud Smoky Hibiscus Cocktail Salt.
Pour contents into the rimmed glass. You can leave a crushed lime wedge in there (remove extras) and serve.
