n1 Far East Spain Blend / Vegan - Brownies de Chocolate y Banana
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 c white sugar
1 c coconut sugar
3/4 c unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp n1 Far East Spain Blend (or 3/4 tsp if you like it more spiced)
1 cup very ripe mashed bananas
1/4 cup almond milk (or non dairy)
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp TJ’s coffee syrup (or vanilla works too)
1 cup dairy free semi sweet chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350 F. Lightly oil a 9 x 13 inch baking pan and set aside.
Mixing by hand is ok for this recipe. It will also help avoid overmixing which may result in a dense baked good.
In another bowl, combine the mashed bananas, almond milk, olive oil, and coffee syrup.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour batter into the pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow brownies to cool before serving.
